The Table is a Columbus community built for women who lead — inside organizations, inside industries, and on their own terms. We bring together corporate executives and women entrepreneurs for honest conversation, meaningful connection, and the kind of leadership development that actually moves the needle.

No gatekeepers. No prerequisites. Just a seat at the table for every woman who is building something worth building.

Why The Table Exists and Who It's For

There is something powerful that happens when ambitious, passionate women get in a room together with the genuine intention of growing. Ideas get sharper. Perspectives broaden. Connections form that open doors nobody knew existed. And every woman in the room leaves more capable, more inspired, and more confident than when she walked in.

The Table exists to make that happen consistently in Columbus — for any woman who leads or is growing into leadership. Corporate executives and senior leaders. Women entrepreneurs and business owners. Emerging leaders who are earlier in their journey. If you are building something, leading something, or figuring out what comes next, there is a seat here for you.

We believe that when women invest genuinely in each other's growth, everyone goes further. That the most powerful thing a room full of women who lead can do is decide to be unconditionally in each other's corner. That kind of community has to be built with intention. That is exactly what we are doing in Columbus.

What You Will Find at The Table

Events Quarterly gatherings designed to be worth showing up for. Not standard networking events. Evenings built around real programming — speakers, panels, and conversations that give you something to think about long after you leave the room. Our inaugural event is Wednesday, October 15th in Columbus. Details coming soon.

The Spotlight Series Each month The Table features a Columbus woman whose leadership story is worth telling. Her path, her lessons, what she has built, and what she would tell the woman coming up behind her. These are the stories that inspire, that normalize the hard parts, and that remind us we are not building alone.

The Newsletter The Table — A Newsletter for Women Who Lead is published monthly and delivered directly to your inbox. Each issue includes a feature on leadership, entrepreneurship, or community, a spotlight on a Columbus woman worth knowing, curated resources worth your time, and a closing question worth sitting with.

Community More than anything, The Table is a community. A group of Columbus women who are genuinely invested in each other's success. Who show up for each other in the room and outside of it. Who pass opportunities, make introductions, and pull up seats for the women coming up behind them.

The Woman Behind The Table

Vanessa Godoy is a people strategy executive with more than 20 years of experience leading organizations through growth and change in financial services. She created The Table because she believes deeply in the power of women supporting women — and because she has seen firsthand what happens when the right people get in the right room together.
